Annapurna region in Nepal is arguably the most beautiful natural landscape in this country and probably the world. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a 14-day trip encompassing an adventure trekking through gorgeous valleys and pristine glacial streams onto the foothills of towering Himalayas.

A sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu Valley will introduce you to the culture and archeology of the beautifulcity as you visit two UNESCO World Heritage sites at Swayambhunath and Basantapur Durbar Square. The trip then heads to another popular tourist town of Pokhara. Starting theAnnapurna Base Camp trek, you'll first drive to Nayapul and then take on a trail to Ulleri. While it's never easy to take a challenge on the first day itself, the infamous Ulleri steps (around 3500 steps-steep & stone paved) will require breaking some sweat. It is now that you get a feel of Himalayan tribes and their lifestyle as you spend time at beautiful villages of Ghorepani and Tadapani. The hike up Poonhill for great views of the Annapurna (8091m) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail|6997m) is topped only when you land yourself at the foot of these towering peaks at their base camps. Also on offer are gorgeous views of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Gangapurna (7455m) and Himchuli (6441m) in addition to Annapurna range. Annapurna Base camp trek then circuits to the natural Jacuzzis at Jhinu Danda before wrapping it up with a hike back to Nayapul. While any frequent traveler will shout out for a trek in Spring (March-May), you can also take it on in Autumn (September-November). It is advised you have a moderate level of fitness and do not shy away from cold nights and steep terrain.
