Start the Everest Panorama Trek by arriving at the Kathmandu valley and, after gathering your necessities, take a quick flight to Lukla. Trek through scrubs and bushes to reach Phakding. The trek takes a difficult turn on the road to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy walking along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River and enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. At Namche, we shall explore this bustling Sherpa settlement and visit the local temples and monasteries. After acclimatizing at Namche, our road leads to Phortse. This small Sherpa community thrives with culture and norms despite its size. The trail sees a bit of religion when it arrives at Tengboche. This village comprises mostly of Buddhists and it is also the home of Tengboche Monastery. Learn the myths of Buddhism here, and marvel at the glorious sight of Himalayan jewels like Lhotse (8516m), Everest (8848m), Ama Dablam (6856m), and Thamserku (6608m). The trail descends to the Dudh Koshi riverbank and leads to Khumjung. Retrace your steps back to Phakding and enjoy a short flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. After spending a free day in Kathmandu, you will head back to your home, marking the end of this 12-day long trip.

    Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)

    Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport and meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

    Kathmandu – Lukla (2,840m) – Phakding (2,610m)

    Today, we take a short flight that leads us to Lukla. After flying for 30 minutes, we arrive at Lukla. We will gather our stuff and begin the trek. The trail is short and can be completed within 3 hours. Phakding is a small Sherpa settlement and comprises mostly of lodges. Overnight stay at Phakding.

    Phakding (2,610m) – Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

    We head for the biggest Sherpa settlement of the Khumbu region, the Namche Bazaar. The trail takes us across the Dudh Koshi River and along the small village of Monjo. The trail also covers the Sagarmatha National Park for most of the trek. From Jorsalle, the trail officially enters the national park and crosses multiple suspension bridges to reach Namche. Namche Bazaar mostly comprises of travelers who want to climb Everest. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

    Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

    Today is a day which is separated solely for acclimatization purposes. Instead of trekking, we shall explore the major landmarks of the Namche Bazaar. Enjoy Sherpa cuisine at the Himalayan hotel which sits at a very high altitude. Visit the Khumjung monastery which houses the scalp of a Yeti. You can visit the Khumjung village too. Overnight stay atNamche Bazaar.

    Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – Phortse (3,600m)

    Today, we shall head to the Phortse village. The route to Phortse is mostly uphill. The walk provides an amazing view of the various mountains of the Khumbu region. Trekking along the Imja River, we make a gradual ascent along Sanasa. After trekking for 3 hours, we arrive at Phortse. Overnight stay at Phortse.

    Phortse (3,600m) – Tengboche (3,860m)

    Today, the trail leads us all the way to Tengboche. The walk sees a steady increase in altitude and we need to walk at least 4 hours to arrive here. Tengboche is a Buddhist village and the inhabitants here are mostly Sherpas. This village is home to the famous Tengboche Monastery which is considered to be the biggest in the Khumbu region. Overnight stay at Tengboche.

    Tengboche (3,850m) – Khumjung Village (3,900m)

    Today, we witness the sunrise over the Himalayas in the Khumbu region. Mountains like the Everest (8848m), Ama Dablam (6856m), and Khumbila (5761m) festoon the views from the monastery.Then, we head towards the Khumjung village. The trail descends to the Dudh Koshi River and we can observe spectacular views of numerous other mountains. Khumjung sits on the outskirts of Namche and you can see the school that was established by Sir Edmund Hillary. Visit the local monastery and interact with the locals. Overnight stay at Khumjung.

    Day 08: Khumjung Village (3,900m) – Phakding (2,610m)

    We slowly begin our descent from today. The trail sees a decrease in altitude and we shall make our way to Phakding. As we head down, we take a quick break at Namche and after shopping for some souvenirs, we head back to Phakding. Upon arrival in Phakding, we take a quick glance at the prevailing Sherpa lifestyle. Overnight stay at Phakding.

    Phakding (2,6100m) – Lukla (2,840m)

    As the trek nears its end, we shall make our way through the lush forests of the Khumbu region and deep into the wilderness. We follow the Imja River and ascend to Lukla. The final part of the trek sees us climb an uphill climb to a hilltop and, finally, descend to reach Lukla. Upon arrival in Lukla, you can explore the village. Overnight stay at Lukla.

    Lukla /Kathmandu

    Today, you shall get up early and aim to reach Kathmandu. The flight takes you through the amazing picture of the snow-laden mountains in the Everest region. After flying for 30 minutes, we arrive at Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you can head to the local eateries and massage centers to celebrate the success of the trek. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

    Free Day at Kathmandu

    Today is a free day in Kathmandu and it can be used for mostly two purposes. The first one is to explore the major UNESCO world heritage sites of the valley like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. The other one involves taking a rest at the hotel and doing some strolling at night. Regardless of your choice, you will have a great day. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

    Today is your final day in Nepal and our representative will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure.
