Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is one of the newly established trekking routes seeking to further explore Annapurna region boasting stunning views of the Himalayas. Heading away from the beloved Annapurna Base Camp Trek, journey takes us to the heart of an unexplored region on eastern side of Annapurna Base Camp. Retaining all the enchanting allures of Annapurna region, Mardi Himal Trek sets tone for an affluent exhibition of Gurung culture and sublime Himalayas.

Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek begins journey towards Pokhara enjoying stunning hilly landscapes and tranquil rivers en route. Continuing on, journey takes us to Kande where we begin our trek heading towards Forest camp for first day on the go. Entering stunning views of the lush green forests adorned with pine, fir, and rhododendron trees, journey heads towards Low Camp and then onto High Camp at an altitude of 3,550m. Next day takes to foothills of majestic Annapurna Himalayan range.  Upper viewpoint where we get to witness majestic views of the Himalayas.

The majestic views of Annapurna Himalayan Range shouldering the snowy summits of Mt Hiunchuli (6,441m), Fishtail (6,993m), and Annapurna South (7,219m) is something unforgettable as we take in the Himalayan panorama at an altitude of 4,500m. Itinerary

After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, Ace Vision Treks & Tours representatives will meet up with you who will then drive you directly to the hotel. Once refreshed from the day's travel, you will be introduced to the guides and other members of the staff who will continue to brief you on the trek.

The day begins early as we head out of Kathmandu through the stunning hills and pleasant landscapes surrounding the region. The trail settles down through the unfamiliar bends of Prithvi Highway before being joined by the tranquil Trishuli River midway. With the stunning hilly landscapes surrounding us, the journey reaches Pokhara just in time to witness the stunning views of the sunset over the Himalayas.

Kathmandu to Pokhara by Flight is 25min.

After a lovely breakfast in the company of the mesmerizing Himalayas, we head towards the hamlet of Kande enjoying the stunning hilly landscapes surrounding us. After a short break at Kande, we begin our trail heading towards the forest camp for our first night on the go. Moving away from the Annapurna Circuit trail, we make our way towards Forest Camp.

Today, we make our way towards the Low Camp whilst enjoying the stunning views of Machhapuchhre (6,997m) throughout the day. Wrapping up from the Forest Camp, the trail continues to snake through the stunning forest landscape adorned with rhododendron trees. The rising altitude is evident through the changing landscapes as the declining hills give way to the snowy Himalayan peaks.

The trail today reaches the Mardi Himal High Camp which also denotes our entry to the 3,500m altitude range. From Low Camp, we continue our journey through the lonely forest trail gradually ascending towards BadalDanda. With the stunning views of Gangapurna (7,454m) guiding the journey, we head towards High Camp enjoying the mesmerizing views of Annapurna South (7,219m).

The day begins early as we head towards the Upper viewpoint (4,500m.) to enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas. As the forested trail gives way to the rocky Himalayan pathways, the journey continues its ascent reaching the Upper Viewpoint where an enchanting Himalayan panorama awaits us. Enjoying the snowy summits of the majestic Annapurna Himalayan range, we make our way back to the High Camp.

On to the final leg of the trek, we make our way back descending towards Siding Village. The Himalayas serve as a mesmerizing backdrop, the journey once again takes us to the lush green forests enjoying the pleasant landscapes and lovely hilly trail. The hamlet of Siding is also our final stop before heading back to Pokhara and exhibits the unique culture and way of life of the locals.

Today is a short day of the trek as we make our way back towards Pokhara which ends our trek. The journey follows the lush green forests for one final time as we enter the mesmerizing valley of Pokhara. With the activities of the day over you are free to tour around the valley to destinations like Phewa Lake, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

Today, we head back to Kathmandu once again settling on the familiar twists and turns of Prithvi Highway. The journey back home takes us through the lovely Hilly landscapes as we are accompanied by the tranquil Trishuli River all the way back to Kathmandu. After arriving in Kathmandu, we head to our hotel and rest. Later, you can hunt for souvenirs in the local markets. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

      Mardi Himal Trekking Best Season

      Nepal's high passes trekking season is autumn and Spring. But Mardi Himal is short trekking trail lap of the Himalayas. Mardi Trek we can do all around the year. During winter season, the hiking trail has snow and ice. If you well-packed like Crampons, warm dawn Jacket and -20*C Sleeping bag is enough to complete Mardi journey. Due to global push weather condition especially December we easily complete this trek.

      Monsoon season (June-August) especially August is worse month. Lower part has leeches, cloudy and muddy hiking trails. If your holiday on June we easily complete this trek. In month of May month the weather condition like Children's game "Hide and Seek" Suddenly cloudy and clear.

      4,500m 14,769 feet Elevation travellers reach Mardi Base Camp. But overnight stay at Mardi High camp tea house. Generally high altitude is main challenging. The hiking trail from Forest camp until High camp is uphill. So hike generally and smoothly. While hike uphill altitude gain results symptoms of AMS, so always here Trekking Guide instructions. Problems come with solutions so don't trek solo in Nepal for any trekking.
