An incredible Himalayan adventure, Yala Peak Climbing is most appropriate for those who wish to experience the Himalayan wilderness in a limited amount of time. Langtang Valley, the valley of glaciers, boasts hundreds of stunning Himalayan vistas amongst which Yala Peak (5,500m) is considered to be one of the easier ones. Shouldered by the majestic Himalayas the region holds several similarities to Tibet from culture to religion. The unique culture and the way of life are a unique mystery to be discovered here alongside the majestic Himalayas that need to be conquered.

Our Himalayan journey of Yala Peak Climbing is begun on the Kathmandu Day Tour. We tour the UNESCO-enlisted world heritage sites. The entire history of the valley unfolds ahead of you as you explore sites like Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. We then get on a drive toward the trailhead at Sybrubensi. The trail enters the lush green forests which dominated the entirety of the valley as we make our way to Lama Hotel before reaching Langtang village via Ghodatabela which offers us stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m). Through dense forests filled with pine, fir, and rhododendron trees, we head up towards Kyanjin Gompa, which is the oldest monastery in the region.

Taking a day off for acclimatization and enjoying the stunning views from Kyanjin Gompa, we make our way through the rocky Himalayan trail reaching Yala Peak Base Camp. The next day begins early making our way through the icy trail to reach the mountain summit of Yala Peak (5,500m) offering stunning views of the Himalayas including Shishapangma (8,013m) alongside countless peaks from the Tibetan side. Descending back, we head to the base camp before making our way down to Kyanjin Gompa. Entering the lush green forests once again, we head down to Lama Hotel and then end our journey at Sybrubensi.

The Yala Peak climbing can be an entertaining affair if done right. It can also be a strenuous journey if not planned properly and Tour Trekking Company in Nepal is here to ensure that every care is taken before heading up to the Himalayas for making this journey a memorable one.
