Trekking Permits Cost in Nepal

Everest Region

Region of the world’s highest peak, Mt Everest (8849m) provides fascinating trekking routes for trekkers. It is a protected area of Nepal that requires entry permit to unravel journey to the Everest region. The permits are;

  1.  Sagarmatha National Park entry permit= $25
  2. Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality permit = $18

Note: you can get these permits from the Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu or Monjo village.

Annapurna Region

Annapurna region is popular for its short and beginner-friendly routes like “ABC, Mardi Himal trek, and Ghorepani Poonhill trek”. It is the second most loved trekking trail after Everest region trek.

  1. Annapurna Conservation Area Project= $25
  2. Trekkers Information Management system= $18

Manaslu Region

Popular for its off-the-beaten and beautiful trails, Manaslu region is a classical trekking region. The region is perfect for remote trekking lovers.

Special Restricted Area Permits for Manaslu

  1. Spring autumn = $100
  2. Summer winter = $25
  3. Manaslu Conservation Area Project = $25

Note: you can get a Manaslu conservation area project entry permit from Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu and a special restricted area permit from immigration office.

Langtang region

Langtang Region is 3rd most loved trekking route in the Himalayas of Nepal. Langtang serves easy to challenging trek routes,  which every age of the traveler can do.

  1. Langtang National Park permit= $25
  2. Trekkers Information Management System= $18

Note: You can get these permits from the Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu or Syaprubesi in Rasuwa.

Mustang Region

‘Himal Pari ko desh’ which means city behind the shadows of mountains and, desert of Nepal called Mustang. The Mustang region is popular for its unique geographical structure. As it fall under a protected area of Nepal, permits are compulsory to explore Mustang.

Upper Mustang

  1. Upper Mustang Permit= minimum $50per day
  2. Annapurna Conservation Area Project Entry Permit= $ 25
