6-day Chitwan Jungle Safari with Kathmandu Tour in Nepal

Itinerary

You arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. One of Ace Vision Treks & Tours representatives will receive you at the airport. A short drive from the airport to your hotel will give you a glimpse of the vibrant city of Kathmandu. In the Evening explore Thame yourself.

Following your arrival, a day of sightseeing will keep you busy on this day. Starting a visit to the Pashupatinath Temple offers an insight into the spiritual and cultural lifestyle of Hindus. This visit will be followed by one to the Boudhanath Stupa. Capping off the day’s trip will be a visit to the Kathmandu Durbar square and the shrine of the Living Goddess, Kumari.

Walk On this day you ride a bus heading south to Sauraha. A 7-hour bus ride along the gorgeous landscape, plummeting valleys, and the Trishuli River will keep you busy as you spend most of the day on the road. Once in Sauraha, a representative will receive you and transfer you to a resort where you will check-in. A tour of the indigenous Tharu community and their village in the evening will be followed by a cultural program over dinner.

Start with a jungle walk early in the morning with a chance to sight wildlife preserved within the Chitwan National Park. It is a brilliant opportunity to spot deer, one-horned rhinoceros, spotted leopards, sloth bears, and, of course, the royal Bengal tiger. Post lunch, venture into an out-of-the-box experience with an elephant back safari. While riding on the back of an elephant you get to talk about the wildlife as well as bird species within the park. Conclude this safari by bathing with an elephant, bound to be a thrilling moment. You can opt for a canoe ride in Rapti River or a crocodile breed center visit for a chance to sight rare species of crocodiles including the Gharial and Marsh Mugger.
