This 11-day Everest Base Camp Heli trek starts with a sightseeing tour of UNESCO-listed.  World Heritage sites of Basantapur Durbar Square and Swayambhunath stupa on the Kathmandu day tour. The trip then takes you on a mountain flight to the town of Lukla. Catching up with a team of guides and porters, start the world-famous EBC trek on the Everest trail to Phakding and consecutively to Namche Bazaar.

A trading point of Khumbu and a Tourist hotspot. Namche will host you for a couple of nights with the first glimpse of Mount Everest (8848m). From here, the trail heads on a challenging and culturally diverse tour of the Sherpa settlements at Tengboche and Dingboche. The final leg of this trek will land you in arid lands full of rubbles and rocks from glacial moraines as you trek on to Gorakshep and finally complete the mission arriving at Everest Base Camp Trek (5364m).

This will be an inspirational moment as you stand eye to eye with the tallest mountain on earth. Capping off this trip, a helicopter will fly you back from Gorakshep to Kathmandu with parting views of the Himalayan range. This trek is best undertaken during spring (March to May) and autumn (September-November).

Welcome! As you glide down the clouds, a concrete jungle comes into view, that’s Kathmandu. Touching down, an Ace Vision Treks staff, on standby, will receive you and transfer you in a private vehicle to your pre-booked hotel.  Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu has a lot in store for you. And this day is pre-booked in your itinerary to explore this vibrant city. The sightseeing tour begins as you explore the preserved medieval architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square. After appraising the art and craft, this tour turns spiritual with a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa. You then head to the Pashupatinath temple, a great pilgrimage site for Hindus. Finally, partake in circumambulation of the shrine while offering payers and turning the prayer wheels at the Boudhanath stupa.

On a jolly day, you will be driven to the airport early in the morning for a flight to Lukla. This 40-minute scenic flight culminates thrillingly as you touch down at Lukla Airport. As you join the rest of the team, porters, and a guide at the airport, start the wonderful Everest Base Camp trek with a relatively easy trek to Phakding.

A morning amidst towering hills is made enticing with a trek to the famous Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar. Start by crossing the Dudh Koshi River onto an ascending trail. Heading up along the Dudh Koshi valley, we pass Bengkar. Past Monjo, the trail gets steeper as we enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsalle village. Here, we cross yet another suspension bridge and then ascend to Namche.

Considering a significant gain in altitude in the past couple of days, this will be an acclimatization day coupled with an exploration trip to nearby Sherpa villages of Khumjung and Khunde. An early morning hike up to the Hotel Everest View will reward you with an unobstructed view of Mount Everest accompanied by some of the highest mountains on Earth.

We head further along the Everest trail to Tengboche on this day. The trail runs along a decent terrain until we arrive at Phunki Tenga. Observe the water-powered prayer wheels making their rounds with a chance to encounter wildlife such as the Himalayan Tahr or musk deer native to this region. A couple of hours uphill from Phunki Tenga will take you to Tengboche.

After an early morning wake-up call and a visit to the Tengboche monastery for morning prayers, we start the day's trek. The first part of the climb is a trek up to Pangboche village. We take on the trail above the Imja Khola River. The trail swirls around the banks of Imja Khola as we pass Orsho. Dingboche is an hour or so as we take on a trail over the glacial moraines.

One more acclimatization day, take this spare day to head off the main Everest trail. On this day, you explore the Sherpa culture in the village along with the lifestyle of the people here. In order to acclimatize to the Himalayan atmosphere better, you can also take short hikes around the Dingboche village.

By the end of today's trek, you'll be a stop short of the base camp of the highest mountain on Earth. The day starts with a climb up the ridge of Pheriche Valley. Past Dughla, we cross over to trek along the moraine of Khumbu Glacier. Post lunch, you take on a steep climb along the moraine to the top for great views of Mount Pumori (7165m) including the Lingtren, Changtse, and Khumbutse ranges. Head further along the valley to Lobuche.

The trek starts with a Grand view of Khumbu Glacier as we trek along a wide valley adjacent to this glacier. As we make our final descent, we arrive at a bed of sand that will mark our entry at Gorakshep. After a short break off the trail, we refresh and start for the Everest Base Camp(5,364m). Once at EBC, enjoy glorious views of Mount Everest from the southern face, views of the glaciers and pools surrounding this area as well as the Everest Icefall. Back at Gorakshep, you get on the chopper as it will take you back to Kathmandu in spectacular fashion. Enjoy the flight while you glide above some of the highest mountain ranges on Earth.

The day is kept to ensure that you catch your flight back to Kathmandu on time. The flight to/from Lukla can often get delayed due to bad weather. If you’re in Kathmandu, you can enjoy time exploring the local market, shops, and restaurants.
