The journey of Mohare Danda Trek begins from the tranquil hills of the valley. Touring the UNESCO world heritage sites of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square spread throughout the city. We make our way towards the trailhead located at Galeshwar crossing the mesmerizing city of Pokhara. en route. Through the lush green forests which cover the entirety of the Annapurna Region. We begin our trek towards Banskharka for our first night on the go. Continuing on, the lonely trail winds upwards while crossing stunning landscapes and vibrant forests towards the hamlet of Nangi.
An early morning trek takes us to the Mohare Danda Hill station. From where we can bear witness to the snowy summits of the majestic Annapurna Himalayan Range painted golden with the rays of the early morning sun. Heading down, the journey continues its forested run descending to Deurali. And then onto the vibrant hamlet of Ghandruk blessed with stunning views of Mt. Machhapuchhre (6,997m). The village is also known to house astonishing Gurung culture and practice the famous homestay practice in Nepal. The final stretch takes us down to Nayapul. From where we board the bus heading towards Pokhara ending the Himalayan journey. The Mohare Danda Trek is best done in the months of March to May.
