Nepal Tourist Arrivals in 2022, Nepal saw a significant increase in international tourists, with a total of 614,148 visitors, per recent data from Nepal Tourism Board. Despite this growth of 306.82 percent compared to the previous year, the number of tourists was still 48.70 percent lower than in 2019.
In 2019, 1.19 million tourists visited Nepal. In 2020 and 2021, Nepal received 230,085 and 150,962 tourists, respectively.
In 2022, a large proportion of international tourists were from India. The country recorded 209,105 visitors from India. The United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Bangladesh were among the top countries of origin for tourists visiting Nepal, with 77,009, 44,781, 26,874, and 25,384 visitors, respectively.

Nepal received the most tourists in October and March and the least in January and August.
October and March saw a significant increase in tourist arrivals, with a jump of nearly 50% from September to October and almost 70% from February to March.
In contrast, January, February, July, and August received relatively few tourists.
