Annapurna base camp trekking details

Starting the Annapurna trek, you'll first drive to Hille and then take on a trail to Ulleri. While it's never easy to take a challenge on the first day itself, the infamous Ulleri steps (around 3500 steps & stone paved) will require breaking some sweat.

It is now that you get a feel of the Himalayan tribes and their lifestyle as you spend time in the beautiful villages of Ghorepani and Tadapani. The hike up Poonhill for great views of the Annapurna (8091m) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail 6997m) is topped only when you land yourself at the foot of these towering peaks at their base camps.

Also, on offer are gorgeous views of Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Gangapurna (7455 m), and Himchuli (6441m) in addition to the Annapurna range. Annapurna Base camp trek then circuits to the natural Jacuzzis at Jhinu Danda before wrapping it up with a hike back to Nayapul.

When is the best time for Nepal trekking Annapurna Base camp? While any frequent traveler will shout out for a trek in Spring (March-May), you can also take it on in Autumn (September-November). It is advised you have a moderate level of fitness and do not shy away from cold nights and steep terrain.
